Key learning outcomes
|
Students are introduced to theoretical and practical knowledge of basic technological processes such as alloying, moulding, or machining of metals and polymers, HSC machining and heat treatment, as well as to the planning of production processes and systems, tool design, quality control and ecology, which are related to metal processing and technology of polymeric materials. Special attention is paid to computer-aided technologies, NC programming, CAD-CAM systems, robotics, and furthermore to the knowledge of marketing and management of manufacturing companies.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
|
Graduates are experts in technical preparation of manufacturing and have a deep knowledge of computer technologies, programming in manufacturing, and furthermore, of economics and quality management. Graduates might work in positions related to production of tools for polymer manufacturing, in mechanical engineering and CNC technologies, in plastics manufacturing companies, as well as in the field of quality control and management.
