Key learning outcomes The aim of the doctoral study is to provide the doctoral student with the scientific development of knowledge in the field of study, the development of talent for research practice and the development of a scientific or engineering personality. The aim of the presented doctoral study program is to educate highly qualified experts for scientific careers in the field of information technology at the academic level, or experts for specialized areas of the information technology industry, especially design and development of software solutions with emphasis on security and performance. Due to the importance of cyber security, experts are being prepared who are able to hold professional and highly specialized positions not only in commercial but also in public administration. The study is clearly academically oriented, independent analysis of complex problems, work with the current state of knowledge, creation of new methods, concepts and solutions, their verification and presentation, especially to the professional public.
