Key learning outcomes | The aim of the three-year bachelor's study program Software Engineering is to prepare experts who can solve problems in informatics and software engineering. During the study, students are introduced to various types of algorithms, data structures, and programming languages. During the study, they are also acquainted in detail with the principles of cryptology and artificial intelligence. Emphasis is also placed on software testing and software project development tools. The study program offers students the knowledge not only of subjects profiling the program but also basic knowledge of mathematical analysis and algebra, optimization methods, theoretical computer science, computer architecture, digital and microcomputer technology. During the study, emphasis is also placed on professional communication and an overview of current IT trends in the English language. The aim of the study is to provide graduates with deeper knowledge in the field of software engineering and to provide them with appropriate competencies for the subsequent performance of the profession. The study ends with the defense of a bachelor's thesis and a final state examination. |

Persistence requirements | V souladu s dokumentací uvedenou ve studijním plánu v IS/STAG je podmínkou pro pokračování ve studiu po ukončení prvního roku studia v bakalářském studijním programu získání alespoň 30 kreditů z povinných a povinně volitelných předmětů zapsaných v prvním roce studia. Pokud student tuto podmínku nesplní, bude studentovi ukončeno studium dle § 56 odst. l písm. b) zákona. Na postup při rozhodování v této věci se vztahuje § 68 zákona. Student, který splnil tuto podmínku, si do druhého roku studia zapíše: - všechny nezakončené povinné a povinně volitelné předměty 1. ročníku, - předměty přednostně 2. ročníku (dle aktuálního studijního plánu pro daný studijní program) do maximálního počtu 75 zapsaných kreditů. V souladu s dokumentací uvedenou ve studijním plánu v IS/STAG je podmínkou pro pokračování ve studiu po ukončení druhého roku studia získání alespoň 80 kreditů z povinných a povinně volitelných předmětů zapsaných v 1. a 2. roce studia, přičemž student musí mít splněny všechny povinné a povinně volitelné předměty 1. ročníku standardního studijního plánu pro daný studijní program. Pokud student tyto podmínky nesplní, bude studentovi ukončeno studium dle § 56 odst. l písm. b) zákona. Na postup při rozhodování v této věci se vztahuje § 68 zákona. Student, který splnil tyto podmínky, si zapisuje do dalšího roku studia: - všechny nezakončené povinné a povinně volitelné předměty 2. roku studia, - předměty přednostně 3. ročníku (dle aktuálního studijního plánu pro daný studijní program) tak, aby po ukončení třetího roku studia dosáhl minimálně 140 kreditů. V souladu s dokumentací uvedenou ve studijním plánu v IS/STAG je podmínkou pro ukončení bakalářského studijního programu dosažení alespoň 180 kreditů z povinných a povinně volitelných předmětů bakalářského studijního programu podle aktuálního studijního plánu pro daný studijní program. Pokud student nesplnil tuto podmínku, zapíše si do dalšího roku studia všechny nezakončené povinné a povinně volitelné předměty. |
