Course objectives:
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with various ways to change one's appearance while respecting the aesthetic norms based on all factors involved in the process. Among many listed methods is also the use of cosmetics. The course shows how to improve one's look and achieve a well-balanced, harmonious presentation without any invasive treatments or procedures.

Requirements on student
Course credit: active participation in the classes, 80% attendance, written test.
The form of assessment of subject is course pass ("zápočet"). The result of a course pass is expressed on the scale: a) "započteno" (i.e. "pass"), b) "nezapočteno" (i.e. "fail").


Content
The syllabus contains following main parts:
- Basic knowledge of clothing etiquette.
- Aesthetics, brief history.
- Viisual aesthetics.
- Lectures and practical seminars from the area of clothing styling.
- Specifics of lifestyle and fashionable magazines.
