Vysvětluje vlastnosti a strukturu kolagenu a přináší pohled na jednotlivé typy. Představen je metabolismus kolagenu a jeho využití. V praktické části výzkumu je popsána aktuální metodika stanovení kolagenu. Práce přináší celistvý pohled na problematiku a využívá jak nejnovějších zdrojů, tak v oboru dlouhodobě uznávaných informací.

The bachelor work named ?The Character of Collagen and its Usage in Treatment of Articular Diseases? describes causes of articular diseases, their treatment and special joint care products, which are it's support. Text explains the character and structure of collagen and brings a view on various types of it. The metabolism of collagen and its usage are presented. In the empiric part, the actual methodology of determination of collagen is discribed. Thesis brings a complex view on the topic and uses on the one side the newest electronic ressources, on the other side well known and long-terms appreciated informations.
