Annotation Tato bakalářská práce popisuje největší hydroelektrárnu světa Tři soutěsky v Číně. Úvodem se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou, principem a rozdělením vodních elektráren. Následuje charakteristika některých velkých vodních elektráren ve světě. Poté se práce zaměřuje na výstavbu Tří soutěsek, a nakonec popisuje její dopady na životní prostředí.
Annotation in English This bachelory study describes the biggest hydro-electric power station in the world Three Gorges in China. Introduction deals with the general characteristics, principles and diversification of hydraulic power plant. Then follows the characteristics of some big hydraulic power plants in the world. Afterwards the study focuses on building - up of Three Gorges and in the end it describes its impact on the environment.
