Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na náboženský extremismus, sekty a jejich nebezpečí pro mladou generaci. Jejím cílem je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou náboženského extremismu a navrhnout preventivní opatření k omezení tohoto sociálně patologického jevu. Práce se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou extremistických náboženských skupin. Obsahuje jejich stručný přehled, analyzuje jejich učení a působení. Jsou v ní zmíněny i možné následky na osobnost jejich členů. Autorka dává vzrůstající vliv extremistických skupin do souvislosti se stavem postindustriální společnosti. Za základní prvky prevence extremismu považuje změnu v sociálním prostředí jedince a výchovu k toleranci. Za důležité označuje i systematické vzdělávání v oblasti náboženského extremismu.

This bachelor thesis is focused on religious extremism, sects and their dangerousness for the young generation. Its aim is to inform readers about problems of religious extremism and to propound precautionary measures how to decrease this sociopathological phenomenon. The thesis deals with the general profile of fundamentalist religious groups. It includes a brief survey of them, analyses their doctrine and activities. In the thesis, there are also mentioned possible consequences for the personality of members of such groups. The author finds connection between the increasing influence of fundamentalist groups and the state of the post-industrial society. For the basic elements of prevention of extremism she takes changes in the social environment and teaching to tolerance. She terms also systematic education in the field of religious extremism important.
