Cílem této diplomové práce bylo pokusit se analyzovat příčiny kriminality mladistvých, mající kořeny v rodinném prostředí. V první části diplomové práce jsem se pokusil pomocí odborné literatury definovat kriminalitu mladistvých, příčiny kriminality mladistvých, rodinu a její funkci, charakteristiku současné rodiny, dysfunkční rodinu a vězení pro mladistvé. Pro analýzu jsem použil metody případových studií, tzn. kvalitativní výzkum. Pro vypracování případových studií byla použita analýza osobní dokumentace, ale také polostandardizovaný rozhovor s pěti mladistvými informátory. Na závěr jsem shrnul poznatky vyplývající z odpovědí respondentů.

The aim of this diploma work was to try analyse the reasons of youthful´s kriminality. The reasons have got the roots in the family surroundings. In the first of my diploma work I tried, with the help of speciál literature, to devone the youthful´s kriminality, the cause of youthful´s kriminality, the family and its function, characterization of prezent family, disfunctional family and the prison for the youthfuls. To maket his analysis I have used the methods of cases studies, it entails the qualitative research. To work out cases studies, analysis of private documentations were used, but also a semistandart discussions with five youthful informants, too. I have finished my work with summary of pieces of knowledge, comming from the informants.
