V mé prácí pojednávám o začátcích animace ve spojených státech. Uvádím první režiséry a animátory a jejích filmy, počáteční techniky a jejích vývoj, stejně tak nekonečný souboj mezi firmami a umělci. Dále se zaměrují na Disneye, největšího mistra animovaného filmu, a jeho spolupracovníka Ub Iwerkse, jeho největší ůspěchý v krátkem filmu, způsoby, jakým řídil své studio, a končím s jeho prvním celovečerním filmem, Sněhurkou.

In my bachelor work I've chosen to deal with the very beginnings of th animated film in the united states of America. I'm introducing the first animators and directors, as well as their movies, their techniques and the way they developed. I also refer to the endless war between the companies and the artists. Half of the work itself is dedicated to Walt Disney, the most famous creator of animated films, alongside with his trusted animator, Ub Iwerks. I introduce his biggest successes in the field of short-length animated films and the way he run his studio, finishing with a few words about his first full-lenght film, Snow White.
