Teoretická část bakalářské práce pojednává o poruchách příjmu potravy a to i v dětství a rané adolescenci, o jejich diagnostických kritériích, faktorech ovlivňující vznik těchto poruch, zdravotních rizikách a léčbě těchto poruch a o možnosti prevence u žáků základních škol. Cílem teoretické části je vytvořit rešerši odborné literatury k dané problematice. Praktická část zjišťuje, jaké jsou jídelní postoje žáků základních škol v souvislosti s vnímáním mediálního ideálu krásy. Cílem, je poukázat na negativa sociokulturních faktorů na sebepojetí žáků.

The theoretic part of the baccalaureate work deal with the eating disorders in the adolescence as well as in the childhood and the early adolescence, about the diagnostic criteria, about the factors that can cause the creation of these disorders, it deals with the health hazards and with the treatment and the precaution in the case of the secondary school students. The object of the theoretic part is to create a search of the specialized publications that deal with these problems. The practical part is finding attitudes which students have towards the eating in the connection with the perception of the media ideal of the beauty. The object is to point out the negatives of socio - cultural factors, which influence the personality of a student.
