Annotation Cílem práce je shrnout vlastnosti, výskyt a průmyslové využití antimonu, jakož i metody jeho stanovení. Z vlastností je důraz kladen především na toxicitu. Výskyt se týká hlavně oblastí, z kterých antimon proniká do potravního řetězce člověka, tj. automobilový průmysl, voda, půda a vzduch. Kapitola metody stanovení antimonu shrnuje základní metody pro jeho stanovení v různých druzích vzorků. Popsány jsou tři hlavní metody, a sice molekulová ultrafialová viditelná spektrofotometrie, atomová absorpční a fluorescenční spektrometrie a hmotnostní spektrometrie s indukčně vázaným plazmatem. Smyslem této práce je shrnout dostupné informace o antimonu a popsat hlavní metody jeho stanovení.
Annotation in English The aim of the work is summarize properties, occurrence and industrial use of antimony as well as methods for its determination. From properties emphasis lay on toxicity. Occur-rance is mainly about arreas from which antimony infiltrates human food chain, i.e. road traffic, water, soil and air. The chapter metody stanovení antimonu summarize basic methods for its determination from different types of samples. Three main methods are described, namely ultraviolet visible spectrometry, atomic absorption and fluorescence spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectometry.
