Obsahem teto práce je vyhodnoceni stavu nepolárních extrahovatelných látek (NEL) mezi lety 1994-2004 na území České republiky, konkrétně v povrchových vodách. NEL jsou látky ropného charakteru, které jsou jedny z mnoha kontaminantů životního prostředí. Je zde zmínka o stanovení NEL a o její problematice. Hlavni náplní práce je vyhodnoceni celkového znečištěni životního prostředí tímto kontaminantem. Z dosavadní studie vyplívá, že za posledních 10 let došlo k výraznému snížení znečištění ropnými látkami v povrchových vodách, vlivem poklesu průmyslu.

The content of this work is the evaluation of the state of non-polar extractable matters between 1994-2004 in the Czech Republic, specifically in surface waters. These matters are of an oil character and are one of many environmental contaminants. The determination of these matters is mentioned here as well as the problems with this. The main part of the work is the evaluation of general pollution by this contaminant. During the last 10 years, there has been a significant decrease of oil substance pollution in surface waters, caused by the decline of industry.
