Práce upozorňuje na fenomén domácího násilí, stále závažný celospolečenský problém. V první, teoretické části je práce zaměřena na popis domácího násilí, jeho specifika a formy. Jsou zde popsány osoba pachatele, oběť domácího násilí a zejména pak důsledky domácího násilí pro samotnou oběť a její psychiku, a také vliv domácího násilí na děti jako časté svědky domácího násilí mezi manžely.
Praktická část práce je analýzou statistických údajů z let 2005 a 2006, poskytnutých Policií České republiky, Správou severomoravského kraje.

This study warn of the phenomenon of family violence, which is still major all-society problem.The study is in the first theoretical part specialized on characterisation of home violence, it's specifics and forms. There are described the delinguent, the victim and particulary the results of home violence for the victim itself and it's psyche and also the influence of home violence children, who are often the witness of home violencebetween thein patente.
The partical part of the this study is analyse of statistic dales on the years 2005 and 2006, which were given by the Police of Czech republic, zhe Government of North Moravan distrikt.
