Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou internetových sociálních sítí ve vztahu k pubescentům. Právě dospívající děti tvoří podstatnou část uživatelů internetových sociálních sítí, přičemž si mnohdy neuvědomují rizika, která využívání těchto stránek přináší.
Práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jak moc jsou internetové sociální sítě pro žáky 8. a 9. tříd základní školy důležité, zda na svých profilech používají nastavení soukromí, zda vnímají rozdíly v kvalitě přátelství, která vzniknou na sociálních sítích oproti přátelstvím, která vzniknou ve skutečném světě a jestli existují v jednotlivých oblastech rozdíly mezi pohlavími. Dílčími cíli bylo zjistit, k jaké činnosti sociální sítě žáci nejvíce používají, kolik času na nich tráví, jaké údaje o sobě na svých profilech uvádí a zda se jako členové těchto sítí setkali s obtěžováním jinými účastníky.

The bachelor thesis deals with social networking sites in relation to teenagers. Teenagers are now an essential part of the user of social networking sites, which often do not realize the risks that the use of this site brings.
This study aims to determine how much the online social network are important for students 8th and 9th classes of elementary school, if their profiles are using the privacy settings, if they perceive differences in the quality of the friendships that arise from social networks than friendship that exist in the real world and whether there are differences in the various fields between the sexes. Other objectives should determine what activities of the social networks students most use, how much time they spend there, what information about themselves on their profiles share, and indicates whether they met with harassment as members of these networks by other participants.
