Cílem mojí diplomové práce je navrhnout vhodný způsob financování investiční akce města Prostějov.
V teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní pojmy, které se týkají obcí a jejich hospodaření. Dále je v teoretické části popsána problematika financování obcí a jejich investičních akcí pomocí dotací.
V praktické části je provedena socioekonomická analýza města Prostějov, dále je provedena analýza hospodaření města v letech 2007 - 2012. Poslední kapitola praktické části se věnuje konkrétnímu projektu, pro který navrhuji také nejvhodnější způsob financování.
Poslední část diplomové práce obsahuje mé závěry a doporučení.
Annotation in English
The key aim of the thesis is to find the most applicable way of financing the investment action of the town of Prostějov.
In the theoretical part of this work basic terms related to the financial management of the town are defined. Furthermore, the issue of financing the towns and cities in general is described and besides that the issue of financing investment actions of towns by using grants and funds is outlined.
In the participal part of this thesis the socioeconomic analysis of the town of Prostějov is made and consequently its financial management in the period of 2007 - 2012 is closely examined.
The last chapter is focused on the concrete project for which I suggest the most suitable way of financing. I conclude the thesis by presenting my findings, recommendations and further improvements.
