Bakalářská práce pojednává o potřebách hospitalizovaných dětí. Teoretická část je rozděle-na na tři hlavní části. V první části jsou popsány základní pojmy,jako jsou lidské potřeby a potřeby dětí v nemocnici. Druhá část se zabývá hospitalizací dítěte a třetí část popisuje roli dětské sestry.
Praktická část je zpracována pomocí kvantitativní metody, technikou dotazníku. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit důležitost potřeb a jejich saturaci u hospitalizovaných dětí. Dílčími cíli bylo zjistit, jaké potřeby hospitalizované děti upřednostňují a zda se mění preference a saturace potřeb v závislosti na věku dítěte. Výzkum probíhal u dvou věkových skupin, mladší děti (7-11 let) a starší děti (12-15 let). Dotazníky byly vytvořeny ve dvou variantách, zvlášť pro každý věk a otázky byly přizpůsobeny danému věkovému období. Data byla zpracována celkem od 83 respondentů, hospitalizovaných ve FN Brno, PDM, KDCHOT. 41 respondentů bylo ve věkové skupině 7-11 let a 42 respondentů ve věkové skupině 12-15 let.

This Bachelor Thesis describes the needs of hospitalised children. The theoretical section is divided into three main parts. The first part describes basic terms, such as human needs and needs of children in hospital. The second part describes the process of child hospitalisation, and the third part describes the role of children's nurse.The practical part is processed using quantitative method and surveys. The goal of the surveys was to find out the importance of children's needs and whether their needs are met in children's hospitals. Part of this survey was also to find the children's need preferences, whether they are being met and whether the preferences are changing with the child's age. The research was performed for two age categoriesjuniors (7-11 years old) and older juniors (12-15 years old). The questionnaires were created in two different versions, one for each age group, with the questions being customized to the age group. There were a total of 83 respondents hospitalised in FN Brno Hospital, Child Medicine Department, Child Surgical, Orthopaedic and Traumatology Ward. 41 respondents were in the age group 7-11 years old, and 42 respondents were in the age group 12-15 years old.
