Tématem bakalářské práce jsou Specifika vojenské kartografie a využití prostorových dat v geografických informačních systémech. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, z části teoretické a části praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmy kartografie, stručnou historií kartografie, terénem, prostorovými daty. Závěr teoretické práce je věnován problematice geografických informačních systémů. V praktické části jsou znázorněny mapové kompozice na dvou příkladech, pomocí zvoleného GIS, které demonstrují specifika vojenské kartografie.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the specifics of military cartography and the use of spatial data in geographic information systems. The work consists of two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with concepts of cartography, a brief history of cartography, terrain, spatial data. The conclusion of the theoretical work is devoted to the issue of geographic information systems. In the practical part, map compositions are shown on two examples, using the selected GIS, which demonstrate the specifics of military cartography.
