Bakalářská práce se zabývá umíráním a smrtí jako tématem v mateřské škole z pohledu učitele. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Na základě studia odborné literatury je zpracována teoretická část bakalářské práce, která definuje základní pojmy související s tématikou smrti a umírání, vymezuje základní teoretická východiska zaměřená na koncept smrti z pohledu předškolního dítěte a vymezuje specifika k tématu smrti a umírání aplikovatelné pro prostředí mateřských škol. Praktická část bakalářské práce zpracovává kvalitativní výzkumný design. Prostřednictvím polostrukturovaného interview s učiteli mateřských škol jsou zjišťovány postoje učitelů k tématu smrti a umírání v prostředí mateřské školy.

The bachelor thesis deals with dying and death as a topic in kindergarten from the teacher's perspective. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Based on the study of the literature, the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is developed, which defines the basic concepts related to the topic of death and dying, defines the basic theoretical background focused on the concept of death from the perspective of the preschool child and defines the specifics on the topic of death and dying applicable to the kindergarten environment. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis elaborates a qualitatively oriented research investigation. Through semi-structured interviews with kindergarten teachers, teachers' attitudes towards the topic of death and dying in the kindergarten setting are investigated.
