Diabetes mellitus je závažným problémem celého světa. Čína je na prvním místě s počtem lidí s diabetem. Východiskem pro tuto studii bylo měření skupiny diabetiků v Číně ve městě Chengdu v centrální nemocnici a také na místní poliklinice.
Měření bylo zaměřeno na dvě oblasti. Byly zjišťovány antropometrické charakteristiky nohou a stav nošené obuvi. Výsledky měření byly statisticky zpracovány.

Diabetes mellitus is an important worldwide problem. China is on the first place with the number of people with diabetes. The rsource of this thesis was measurement of group of people with diabetes in the city Chengdu in China in the central hospital and the local clinic.
The experiment was focused on two sections. There were surveyed antrophometric characteristic of the feets and conditions of wearing footwear. The results of measurement were statistically evaluated.
