V diplomové práci se zabývám problematikou interrupce, jednomu z etických problémů, který patří k celospolečenské diskusi. Práce vysvětluje základní pojmy spojené s interrupcí, snažím se odhalit spojitost historie interrupce a etiky.
V teoretické části jsem spolupracovala s poznatky z odborné literatury, doplněné o statistiky z médií. V praktické části je zpracován kvantitativní výzkum, kterým se snažím zjistit, jaká je informovanost lidí o interrupci a jaké postoje mají k problematice interrupce.

In this thesis I am dealing with the issue of interruption, which is one of the ethical problems belonging among the main topics discussed in our society. The basic terms connected with interruption are explained in this thesis and I am trying to reveal the connection between the history of interruption and ethics.
In the theoretical part I used the knowledge of the scientific literature, complemented with some media statistics. The quantitative research was done in the practical part. I am trying to find out the level of awareness of people about interruption and their attitudes towards this issue.
