Diplomová práce se zabývá cestovním ruchem a cykloturistikou v České republice a na území města Uherského Hradiště.
V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy týkající se cestovního ruchu a cyklotu-ristiky a popsána teoretická východiska řešených oblastí. Dále se tato část zabývá stručnou charakteristikou klíčové legislativy, která řeší problematiku cestovního ruchu a cyklistické dopravy v ČR.
Praktická část zahrnuje popis cestovního ruchu a cykloturistiky v ČR, charakteristiku území města Uherského Hradiště a mapování současného stavu cestovního ruchu a cykloturistiky v tomto území. V závěrečné části jsou na základě výsledků plynoucích z provedených analýz vytyčeny problémové oblasti a navrhována řešení na zlepšení rozvoje cykloturistiky na území města Uherského Hradiště.

The master's thesis deals with tourism and cycling in the Czech Republic and in the town of Uherské Hradiště.
The theoretical part explains basic terms focused on tourism and cycling, and ties to define theoretical starting points for possible solutions. This section further discusses in brief the characteristics of key legislation concerning the issues of tourism and cycling in the Czech Republic.
The practical part presents a description of tourism and cycling in the Czech Republic, the nature of the town Uherské Hradiště, and maps the current status of tourism and cycling in this area. The final section gives an outline of problem areas based on the results of analyses performed, and presents a proposal for possible solutions aimed at improving the de-velopment of cycling in and around the town of Uherské Hradiště.
