V bakalářské práci bude prezentováno oddělení sociální práce v nemocnici. Cílem práce je zmapovat, jakou roli plní zdravotně sociální pracovník v nemocnici. Teoretická část se zabývá sociální prací ve zdravotnictví, pojmu sociální práce. Dále se zaobírá zdravotně sociálním pracovníkem, a to legislativou, náplní práce, kompetencemi a typologií klientů. V poslední oblasti teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny metody sociální práce, které se ve zdravotnictví využívají.
V praktické části je popsána kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Ta se zaměřuje na analýzu dat, která jsou zjištěna pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, pozorování a analýzy dokumentů. Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jakou roli zastávají zdravotně sociální pracovnice nemocnici. Pomocí dílčích cílů zjistíme, s kým zdravotně sociální pracovník spolupracuje, jaké činnosti vykonává a jaké metody využívá.

In the bachelor thesis the social work department in the hospital will be presented. The aim of the thesis is to map the role of the health and social worker in the hospital. The theoretical part deals with the social work in health care, with the concept of social work. Then it deals with the health social worker, specifically the legislation, job specification, competences and typology of clients. The last area of the theoretical part of the thesis defines the methods of social work used in health care.
The practical part describes the qualitative research strategy. It focuses on the analysis of data that are found by using semi-structured interviews, observations and document analysis. The aim of the practical part is to find out the role of the health-social workers in the hospital. By using the partial objectives, we will find out with whom the health-social worker cooperates, what activities this worker performs and what methods uses.
