Ve své bakalářské práci jsem se snažil srozumitelně popsat fenomén volného času v jeho širokém historickém, ekonomickém, sociálním, sociologickém, politickém, zdravotně-hygienickém, pedagogickém a psychologickém hledisku. Podrobně je shrnut historický vývoj a význam volného času a odlišnosti v rámci různorodých sociálních skupin. Práce dává přehled o současném i pravděpodobně budoucím vývoji volného času. Rozebrán je i vliv rodiny a mimoškolních zařízení pro trávení volného času, a to i v rámci Evropy. V několika výzkumech je ukázáno prožívání volného času v různých časových obdobích, sociálních skupinách i státech. V celé práci jsem se snažil formou názorných grafů, schémat, tabulek a obrázků přiblížit problematiku přehledným způsobem.

In my assignment I have tried to describe the phenomenon of leisure time in its broad historical, social, political, pedagogical and psychological point of view. The historical development and importance of free time is summarized in details . Also the differences concerning the various social groups are mentioned. The assignment also overviews the current and future development of free time. I have also tried to analyse the influence of the family and after-school activities for spending free time within EU. In several parts of research the spending of free time in different time periods, social groups and countries is shown . I have used the technique of graphs, schemes, charts and pictures to make the results of my research more transparent.
