Práce se zabývá mechanickými vlastnostmi strun tenisových raket. V teoretické části jsou popsány technologie výroby strun z polymerních materiálů a vlastnosti těchto materiálů, které se v současné době používají. V praktické části je uvedena použitá metodika práce na trhacím stroji ZWIK 1456. Dále jsou uvedeny získané výsledky měření, která byla prove-dena pro sedm druhů různých strun tenisových raket, a to vždy pro 11 vzorků. Závěr práce tvoří vyhodnocení a porovnání mechanických vlastností jednotlivých druhů měřených strun tenisových raket.

Work deals with the mechanical characteristics of tennis racket strings. The theoretical part describes the technology of the string of polymeric materials and properties of these materials, which are currently in use. The practical part deals with the methodology of work on the tensile machine ZWIK 1456th Listed below are the results of measurements made for seven kinds of different strings of tennis rackets, and always for the 11 samples. The thesis concludes with an evaluation and comparison of the mechanical properties of each species
