Annotation Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá syntézou a charakterizáciou látok vhodných pre konštrukciu laserov pre emisiu v zelenej oblasti viditlného svetla. Bol študovaný vliv vhodnej kombinácie mriežky a aktivátoru z rady lantanoidov pre prípravu anorganických materiálov vhodných pre túto aplikáciu. Počas tejto diplomovej práce boli pripravené oxidy lantanoidov RE2O3 (RE = Y, Gd, Lu, Sc) aktivované rozdielnymi koncentráciami lantanoidových kationov Ln3+ (Er3+, Ho3+, Ce3+). Bola prevedená dôkladná fyzikálno-chemická charakterizácia sysntetizovaných materiálov jednak z hľadiska ich štruktúry (XRD, SEM) a z hladiska ich optických vlatsností (exitácia, emisia a absorpcia žiarenia). Optické vlastnosti pripravených materiálov vykazovali významné prakticky využitelné vlastnosti hlavne v oblasti nových typov obrazoviek. Získané výsledky vyústili v podanie patentu.
Annotation in English This MSc. thesis was focused on synthesis of the novel inorganic materials suitable as the matrix of lasers emitting in the green part of the visible optical spectra. A search for suitable combinations of host lattice and lanthanide activator ions were studied. Rare-earth sesquioxides RE2O3 (RE = Y, Gd, Lu, Sc) doped by various concentrations of Ln3+ (Er3+, Ho3+, Ce3+) ions were synthesized. Their physico-chemical, structural and optical properties were studied by means of XRD, SEM and optical spectroscopy methods. The optical behaviour of prepared samples was of industrial importance with respect to their application in the novel types of displays design. The latter scientific original findings led to the submission of the patent application.
