Diplomová práce se zaobírá problematikou pandemie COVID-19, která propukla v Číně a následně, začátkem roku 2020 se dostala do Evropy. V teoretické části se diplomová práce snaží čtenáře vtáhnout do komplexnosti dané problematiky. První kapitola diplomové práce je literární rešerše, kde je uveden přínos literárních zdrojů, ze kterých bylo během psaní čerpáno. Druhou kapitolou diplomové práce začíná informativní nastínění celkového kontextu problematiky, kdy se čtenář dozvídá strohé pojmy, ale také první souvislosti spjaté s problematikou. Třetí kapitola s názvem respirační onemocnění má nádech medicínského odvětví pro celistvost tématu. Čtvrtá kapitola nabízí čtenářům zasazení tématu z pohledu historie, kdy je si třeba uvědomit, že v minulosti se lidská populace potýkala s více než jednou pandemií. Takže je na každém z nás, jak z toho jako společnost vyvázneme. Na to navazuje kapitola pátá. Jsou zde popsány prostředky a opatření pro boj s pandemií typu respiračního onemocnění, a to jak v rámci společnosti, tak pro jednotlivce. Kapitola šestá stručně popisuje sdělení teoretické části. Kapitola sedmá uvádí praktickou část diplomové práce, kdy se pozornost upíná k onemocnění COVID-19 v roce 2020 na území vybraných států Evropy. Kapitola má úlohu analytické části práce, kdy dochází k porovnávání a vyhodnocování údajů. V pořadí osmá a také závěrečná kapitola popisuje nejefektivnější reakci vybraných států a navrhuje aplikovat daná opatření v případě uvedených scénářů.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the COVID-19 pandemic, which broke out in China and subsequently, in early 2020, got to Europe. In the theoretical part, the thesis aims to draw the reader into the complexity of the issue. The first chapter of the thesis is literary research, which states the contribution of literary sources, which were used during the writing. The second chapter of the diploma thesis begins with an informative outline of the overall context of the issue, where the reader learns concepts and the first context associated
with the issue of the COVID-19. The third chapter, with the title Respiratory Diseases, has a touch of the medical industry for the complexity of the topic. The fourth chapter offers the issue from the historical point of view when it is important to realize that in the past the human population has faced more than one pandemic. It is up to each of us how to get out of this as a society. This continues in the fifth chapter, which describes the means and measures to combat a pandemic of respiratory disease, both within society and for
individuals. Chapter six briefly describes the statement of the theoretical part. Chapter seven presents the practical part of the thesis, where attention is focused on the COVID-19 disease in 2020 in the territory of selected European countries. The chapter has the task of the analytical part of the thesis in which the data are compared and evaluated. The final chapter
describes the most effective response of selected countries and proposes to apply the presented measures in the case of these scenarios.
Diplomová práce se zaobírá problematikou pandemie COVID-19, která propukla v Číně a následně, začátkem roku 2020 se dostala do Evropy. V teoretické části se diplomová práce snaží čtenáře vtáhnout do komplexnosti dané problematiky. První kapitola diplomové práce je literární rešerše, kde je uveden přínos literárních zdrojů, ze kterých bylo během psaní čerpáno. Druhou kapitolou diplomové práce začíná informativní nastínění celkového kontextu problematiky, kdy se čtenář dozvídá strohé pojmy, ale také první souvislosti spjaté s problematikou. Třetí kapitola s názvem respirační onemocnění má nádech medicínského odvětví pro celistvost tématu. Čtvrtá kapitola nabízí čtenářům zasazení tématu z pohledu historie, kdy je si třeba uvědomit, že v minulosti se lidská populace potýkala s více než jednou pandemií. Takže je na každém z nás, jak z toho jako společnost vyvázneme. Na to navazuje kapitola pátá. Jsou zde popsány prostředky a opatření pro boj s pandemií typu respiračního onemocnění, a to jak v rámci společnosti, tak pro jednotlivce. Kapitola šestá stručně popisuje sdělení teoretické části. Kapitola sedmá uvádí praktickou část diplomové práce, kdy se pozornost upíná k onemocnění COVID-19 v roce 2020 na území vybraných států Evropy. Kapitola má úlohu analytické části práce, kdy dochází k porovnávání a vyhodnocování údajů.
