Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou právního systému České republiky a její legislativy ve vztahu k dětem, k uplatňování jejich práv, odpovědnosti státu za zajištění ochrany a péče o dítě, která je nezbytná pro všestranné blaho dítěte, při současném respektování zákonných práv jak rodičů tak dětí.
Výzkumná část práce se zaměřuje na skupiny respondentů z řad dětí a dospělých. Týká se problematiky jejich právního povědomí a informovanosti o vlastních právech, zejména do jaké míry jsou lidé informováni o právech povinnostech mezi rodiči a dětmi v rámci českého státu a v rámci našich právních norem.

The disseration deals with problems of the legal system of the Czech Republic and its legislation related to children's rights asserting, the responsibility of the state to guarantee the protection and child care that is essential for their general wellfare, and the respect of legal rights of both the children and their parents.
The research part of the disseration is based on a number of child and adult informants. It focuses on their legal awareness and knowledge of their legal rights, particulary to what extent the children and their parents are informed of their rights and duties within the bounds of the legal rules of the Czech Republic.
