Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Význam sociální rehabilitace u dospělých středního věku s duševním onemocněním" pojednává o této problematice a cílem práce je zachytit jaký má tato služba význam v péči o duševně nemocné. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na rozdělení duševního zdraví a nemoci, stigmatizaci osob s psychózou, popis duševního onemocnění schizofrenie, její vznik, rozdělení a typy léčby. Následně práce pojednává o vývojových krizích ve vztahu k duševnímu onemocnění, období středního věku a krizi středního věku. V neposlední řadě se teoretická část věnuje sociální rehabilitaci a přístup sociálního pracovníka k osobám s duševním onemocněním. Praktická část se zaměřuje na zkoumání podpory individuálního plánování ve vztahu ke klientům, vliv sociální rehabilitace v oblasti sociální, samostatného bydlení a podpory pracovního uplatnění. Praktická část byla zpracována formou kvantitativního výzkumu, formou dotazníku.

This bachelor's thesis entitled "The importance of social rehabilitation in middle-aged adults with mental illness" discusses this issue and the aim of this work is to capture the importance of this service in the care of the mentally ill. The theoretical part of the thesis focused on the division of mentl Health and illness, stigmatization of people with psychosis, a description of the mental illness schizophrenia, its origin, devision and types of treatment. Subsequently,the work deals with developmental crises in relation to mental illness, the middle age and the middle age crisis. Last but not least, the theoretical part deals with social rehabilitation and the social worker's approach to people with mental illness. The practical part is devoted to examining the support of individual planning in relation to clients, the impact of social rehabilitation in the field of social, independent living and employment support. The practical part was processed in the form of quantitative research, in the formo of a questionnaire.
