Cílem diplomové práce je vytvořit obraz celkové finanční výkonnosti společnosti Hartmann-Rico a.s. s využitím metody externího benchmarkingu. Na základě dostupných domácích a zahraničních literárních pramenů a elektronických zdrojů autor v teoretické části systematicky zpracovává způsoby hodnocení finanční výkonnosti. Zaměřuje se na benchmarking a jeho současné využití v České republice a ve světě. Hlavním výstupem analytické části práce je zhodnocení finančního zdraví podniku a určení jeho finanční pozice ve srovnání s průměrem v odvětví. Vlastní projekt podává firmě návrh, jak postupovat při zvyšování výkonnosti s využitím benchmarkingu. Autor jej rozčlenil do tří fází, kde postupně řeší výběr a analýzu výkonnosti konkurentů pro srovnání, vlastní porovnání na základě vytvořené soustavy výkonnostních ukazatelů a v poslední fázi popisuje výstupy benchmarkingu pro zlepšování výkonnosti.

The Master Thesis aims to create a financial performance overview of company Hartmann Rico Inc. using method of external benchmarking. Theoretical part is based on available national and international literature and electronic resources. The author systematically describes ways of financial performance evaluation focused on benchmarking and its usage in the Czech Republic and all over the world. The main output of analytical part is analysis of company’s financial health and determination of its position against the industry. In the project the author introduces the way how to improve company’s performance using benchmarking. The project is split into three parts. First of all the author handles selection of competitors and their performance analysis. Following part contains the comparison coming from created system of performance indicators. The last section describes benchmarking outputs that will lead to superior performance.
