Táto bakalárska práca je zameraná na Priemysel 4.0 a jeho technológie, pričom sa sústredí najmä na bariéry ich implementácie v malých a stredných podnikoch (MSP) v Európe. Cieľom tejto práce je zistiť, aká je najväčšia bariéra implementácie Priemyslu 4.0 pre malé a stredné podniky, ako aj určiť najdôležitejšiu vlastnosť implementácie Priemyslu 4.0 a analyzovať, či možnosti implementácie Priemyslu 4.0 majú iba veľké podniky, vzhľadom na finančnú náročnosť takejto implementácie. Práca je postavená na predpoklade, že nerovnosť medzi veľkými podnikmi a malými/strednými podnikmi v kontexte Priemyslu 4.0 môže spôsobiť vážne nevýhody malých a stredných podnikov, ktoré môžu byť z trhu odstránené veľkými podnikmi. Dôvodom potreby preskúmať túto tému je skutočnosť, že pozornosť výskumných pracovníkov sa často venuje veľkým podnikom a preto je potrebný ďalší výskum zameraný na malé a stredné podniky.

This bachelor thesis is focused on Industry 4.0 and its technologies, especially on the barriers of their implementation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within Europe. This work aims to find out the biggest barrier of Industry 4.0 implementation for SMEs and determine the most important feature for Industry 4.0 implementation, as well as to analyse whether only large enterprises have possibilities to implement Industry 4.0, as it requires a lot of financial resources. Based on this assumption, we might predict that the inequality between large enterprises and SMEs in the context of Industry 4.0 could cause serious disadvantages for SMEs, and they might be driven out of the market by large enterprises. The need to examine this topic is because the attention of researchers is often given to large enterprises and further research focused on SMEs is necessary.
