Annotation Gelová permeační chromatografie je zvláštním typem kapalinové chromatografie a je založena na principu separace látek podle velikosti molekul. Uplatňuje se především při stanovení molárních hmotností a distribuce molárních hmotností syntetických polymerů a biopolymerů. V potravinářství se nejvíce využívá při analýzách želatiny, proteinů a škrobů.

It is mostly utilized for determination of molar mass and molar mass distribution of synthetic polymers and biopolymers. In food industry it is usually applied to analyses of gelatine, proteins and starches.
