Předložená bakalářská práce charakterizuje vývoj sociální práce v ČR. Popisuje jednotlivé orgány sociálně právní - ochrany dětí a nejdůležitější zákony, které s touto činností souvisejí.
Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit, jaký je právní základ systému České republiky v souvislosti s činností orgánu péče o děti. Lze konstatovat, že legislativa je již na vysoké úrovni. Právní základ činnosti orgánů péče o děti prochází inovací několik let, takové nové právní úpravy vytváří dobré podmínky pro široké výchovné působení na děti a celou společnost.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the general development of the social work in the Czech Republic and the desription of the individual legal and social protection of children authorities and the most significant related principles.
The purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the legal basis of the system in the Czech Republic in connection with the child welfare authorities. It is possible to delare that the level of legislation is very high. Legal basis of the activities of the child welfare authorities is being innovated for several years, such new enactments set up good conditions for a broad educational influence on children and the whole society.
