Práce pojednává o možnostech uplatnění sociálního pedagoga na trhu práce. Teoretická část se skládá ze čtyř kapitol, které pojednávají o sociální pedagogice jako o společenskovědním oboru a jeho působnosti v současné společnosti, stručně charakterizují historii oboru, možnosti vysokoškolského studia oboru v České republice a o možnostech uplatnění profese sociálního pedagoga na trhu práce. Empirická část prezentuje výzkum na téma míry využitelnosti vědomostí a dovedností získaných během studia v praxi.

This work deals with the possibilities of using a social pedagogy specialist on the job market. The theoretical part consists of four chapters that deal with the social pedagogy as a socioscientific subject and its sphere of action in contemporary society. It briefly deals with the history of the subject, possibilities of university studies of this subject in the Czech Republic and about possibilities how to use the profession of the social pedagogy specialist on the job market. The empirical part presets research of the theme of the dimensions of the efficiency of knowledges and skills obtained in the course of university education in practice.
