Práce je zaměřena na zjištění zájmu o dobrovolnou činnost ze strany třebíčských organizací pracujících v sociální oblasti a dále na zjištění vlivu praktické zkušenosti dobrovolnictví čtyř osob na jejich možný osobní rozvoj. Dílo seznamuje s historií a současným stavem dobrovolnictví v naší zemi i v zahraničí, a to včetně legislativní úpravy. Součástí práce jsou i dva výzkumy. První pátrá po zkušenostech třebíčských organizací s dobrovolníky. Druhý výzkum pak obrací pozornost na dobrovolníky a jejich zkušenosti s touto činností. Cílem práce je na základě obou výzkumů posoudit, zda je fenomén dobrovolnictví skutečně pro společnost užitečný, alespoň v rámci třebíčského regionu.

The work is focused on finding the level of interest about volunteer activities from the side of Třebičes organizations working in the social arena and also on finding out about the influence of practical experiances of four peoples to possible personal development because of voluteer work. The work introduces history and the current state of volunteer work in our country and also abroad including legislative amenoments. A part of this work is two studies. The first researches the experiances of Třebičes organizations with volunteers. The second turns the attention to the volunteers and their experiances with this work. The goal of this work, on the basis of both studies, is to judge whether the phenomenon of volunteer work is useful to the community atleast in the bounds of Třebičes region.
