Bakalářská práce se zabývá v České republice poměrně novým sociálním fenoménem stalking. Obsahem práce je historie fenoménu, původ pojmenování, jeho obsah a popis. Práce dále obsahuje popis pachatele a několik typů členění pachatelů dle motivu, informace o obětech pronásledování, možnostech obrany a pomoci. Práce také obsahuje právní rámec stalkingu v minulosti a v současnosti. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá organizacemi a institucemi zabývajícíma se stalkingem.

This backelar thesis deals with quite a new social phenomenon in the Czech Republic called stalking. The countent of the thesis is the history of this phenomenon, the origin of its name and its description. It also coutains description of the offender and several types of offender´s classification according to the information motive about the victims of stalking, the possibilities of defence and help. Next, this thesis contains legal framework of stalking in the past and nowadays, and it also mentions organizations and institutions dealing with stalking.
