Annotation Práce byla věnována studiu schopnosti rhodokoků rozkládat sloučeniny s 2 ethylhexylovým řetězcem. Schopnost biodegradace byla ověřována růstem dvou mikro-biálních kultur rodu Rhodococcus na jednotlivých substrátech a následným měřením absorbance pomocí UV-VIS spektrofotometru. U vybraných substrátů se dále měřila kinetika růstu pomocí aparatury OXITOP. V práci bylo zjištěno, že obě kultury jsou schopny růstu při využití Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) adipátu, Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) sebakátu, 2-Ethylhexyl acetátu a také 2,2-Ethylenedioxydiethyl bis(2-Ethylhexanoátu) jako jediného zdroje uhlíku energie.
Annotation in English This thesis was focused on a capability of two Rhodococcus strains to decompose several synthetic compounds containing 2-ethylhexyl chain. The biodegradation was tested by the growth of both bacterial strains on the substrates individually; the growth was monitored by measuring of optical density using UV-VIS spectrophotometer after incubation. Further, the growth kinetics was measured for selected substrates by the OXITOP apparatus. The obtained results showed that, both strains were able to grow using Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) adipate, Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) sebacate, 2-Ethylhexyl acetate and 2,2-Ethylenedioxydiethyl bis(2-Ethylhexanoate) as the only carbon and energy source.
