Z možného negativního působení elektromagnetického smogu, tedy lidmi produkovaných nežádoucích elektromagnetických polí, panují díky neustálému technologickému rozvoji čím dál větší obavy. Účelem mé bakalářské práce je shrnout základní poznatky o těchto polích, především o jejich rozšíření, intenzitě, způsobech interakce s živými organismy a z toho vyplývajících možných negativních vlivů na zdraví a životní prostředí. Dále shrnuje legislativní rámec ochrany veřejnosti před těmito vlivy jak v České republice, tak v mezinárodním měřítku.

Because of technological progress the worries about the possible adverse health effects of electromagnetic smog (human-made unwanted electromagnetic fields) have rised. My bachelor thesis has summarized the basic knowledges about these fields, including where they can be found, what intensity are they, the ways of their interaction with living organisms and consequential adverse effects on health and on the environment. It has also summarized the legislation related with protection from these effects as in the Czech republic, as internationally.
