Diplomová práca sa zaoberá históriou a súčasným postavením fyziodetekčného vyšetrenia, jeho uplatnení pri odhaľovaní trestnej činnosti a jeho úlohu pri overení pravdovravnosti a spoľahlivosti. Práca popisuje na akom princípe detektor funguje a aké fyziologické hodnoty meria. Časť práce je venovaná možnostiam ovplyvnenia detektoru a jeho validite. Definuje právne postavenie a uplatnenie fyziodetekčného vyšetrenia v jednotlivých krajinách európskej únie. Praktická časť je venovaná simulácii fyziodetekčného vyšetrenia.

The diploma thesis deals with the history and current status of physiodetection examination, its application in the detection of crime and its role in verifying the truth and reliability. The work describes the principle on which the detector works and what physiological values measures. Part of the work is devoted to the possibilities of influencing the detector and its validity. It defines the legal status and application of physiodetection examination in individual countries of the European Union. The practical part is devoted to the simulation of physiodetection examination.
