Tato práce předkládá vybrané poznatky z behaviorální ekonomie a jejich využití. Klade si za cíl navrhnout řešení, díky kterému se sníží počet neplatičů komunálního odpadu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vnesení psychologických jevů do běžné ekonomie, předkládá, jak tento druh ekonomie pracuje s lidským chováním a vysvětluje, proč se lidé chovají určitým způsobem. K tomu jsou využívány heuristiky a následně metoda nudge. Působnost této ekonomie lze vidět na mnoha místech ve světě, jimiž jsem se nechala inspirovat. V této práci byly teoretické poznatky aplikovány na Městský úřad Veselí nad Moravou. Zvolený problém byl řešen pomocí úpravy dopisů, které jsou zasílány poplatníkům ve Veselí nad Moravou. Dopisy byly upraveny prostřednictvím behaviorálních principů.

This thesis presents selected insights from behavioural economy and their apllications. The aim of this thesis is suggesting a method of decreasing the number of people who do not pay for municipal waste collection. Theoretical part is focused on bringing psychological phenomenons into common economy, working with human behaviour and explaining, why people behave in a particular way. For that purpose heuristic and the method of nudging are used. The scope of this economy can be seen in many places in the world, which had inspired me. In this thesis theoretical principles were applied on the municipal office Veselí nad Moravou. The chosen problem has been solved by editing letters for taxpayers in Veselí nad Moravou. Editing of letters has been changed with regard to behavioural principles.
