Diplomová práce na téma Kvalita života z pohledu romských občanů se zabývá tématem, které je obecně v současné době frekventované. V teoretické části práce je objasněn samotný pojem ?kvalita života?, dále jsou zde charakterizovány jeho jednotlivé dimenze a současně faktory, které mají na kvalitu života vliv. Další kapitola teoretické části práce je věnována výkladu, jehož smyslem je vymezit, kdo je to Rom a blíže ozřejmit specifika tohoto etnika ve vztahu k řešené problematice. Empirická část práce shrnuje výsledky výzkumu ke kvalitě života, který byl v rámci zpracování diplomové práce proveden za využití dotazníku Q-LES-Q a při němž bylo porovnáváno subjektivní hodnocení kvality života ve dvou skupinách respondentů ? Romů a ?ne-Romů?.

The thesis dealing with the topic ?Quality of life from the point of view of Romany citizens? is dedicated to an issue which is nowadays very frequent. In the theoretical part of the thesis you find a definition of the concept of ?quality of life?, and characteristics of its dimensions and factors affecting the quality of life. The following chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to an explanation targeted at a specification who a Romany is and at a more detailed identification of specific aspects of this ethnic group in terms of the issue dealt with. The empiric part of the thesis summarizes the results of a research on the quality of life, which was conducted as part of the thesis by using the Q-LES-Q questionnaire, comparing the subjective evaluation of the quality of life by two groups of respondents ? Romany citizens and ?non-Romany citizens?.
