Bakalářská práce se zabývá vědomostmi sester o diabetu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na onemocnění diabetes mellitus obecně a poté na diabetes mellitus 2. typu, vzdělávání sester v České republice a v neposlední řadě na práci sestry v ambulanci praktického lékaře. Praktická část se prováděla pomocí kvantitativní metody technikou dotazníku. Cílem práce bylo zjistit vědomosti sester pracujících v ordinaci praktického lékaře o diabetu. Výzkum probíhal v ordinacích praktického lékaře.

The bachelor thesis deals with the knowledge of nurses about diabetes. The theoretical part is focused on diabetes mellitus in general and then on type 2 diabetes mellitus, nursing education in the Czech Republic and last but not least on the work of a nurse in a general practitioner ambulance. The practical part was carried out using the quantitative method of the questionnaire technique. The aim of this work was to find out the knowledge of nurses working in a general practitioner's office on diabetes. The research was conducted in general practitioner's surgeries.
