Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou používání hodnotících nástrojů, které se využívají v prostředí intenzivní péče a které slouží k posouzení aktuálního stavu pacienta. Práce je standardně členěna na dvě části, část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická rovina vymezuje 4 základní kapitoly. První kapitola definuje pojmy jako intenzivní péče a intenzivní medicína, uvádí krátkou zmínku o historii intenzivní péče, dělení intenzivní péče a jsou zde popsány typy oborů a jednotek intenzivní péče. Druhá a třetí kapitola se zabývá legislativou v intenzivní péči ve smyslu vzdělání a kompetencí všeobecných sester a sester pro intenzivní péči, dále pak ošetřovatelskou dokumentací. Dominantní část teorie je věnována hodnotícím nástrojům a skórovacím systémům specifických pro intenzivní péči. Ve výzkumné části jsou interpretovány výsledky z dotazníkového šetření. Data byla sbírána pomocí anonymního dotazníku, který byl sestaven z 28 otázek. Výzkumný vzorek tvořil nelékařský zdravotnický personál, všeobecné sestry a zdravotničtí záchranáři, pracující na JIP a ARO v nemocnici krajského typu. Výzkumné šetření bylo provedeno se souhlasem náměstkyně pro ošetřovatelskou péči a se souhlasem vrchních sester vybraných oddělení. Výstupem práce je informační příručka, obsahující vybrané hodnotící nástroje specifické pro intenzivní péči, použitelná pro účely výuky předmětů na Fakultě humanitních studií Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně.

The bachelor's thesis deals with use of assessment tools which are used in the inten-sive care unit environment and which serve for the assessment of the patient's current med-ical condition. The thesis has a standard two-part structure; the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part contains 4 main chapters. The first chapter defines terms such as intensive care and intensive medicine, mentions a brief reference to the history of intensive care, it further contains the division of intensive care and description of intensive care unit types. The second and third chapter deals with legal issues in intensive care, namely education and competencies of general nurses and nurses for intensive care and nursing documentation. A major part of the theory is devoted to explanation of the assess-ment tools and scoring systems in intensive care. The practical part contains interpretation of the surveying results. The data was gathered through an anonymous questionnaire com-prising 28questions. The sample consisted of non-medical healthcare professionals, general nurses and paramedics, working at the ICU and ARD units in a regional hospital. The sur-veying was carried out with the consent of the Deputy Director of Nursing and with the consent of the chief nurses of selected departments. The output of this work is an infor-mation guide for the purpose of teaching the subjects at the Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlin.
