Tématem bakalářské práce je "Indukce porodu: názory a zkušenosti žen". Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a na část praktickou. Teoretická část práce se zabývá těhotenstvím a jeho riziky vedoucí k indukci porodu. Dále jsou v teoretické části práce zpracovány kapitoly, zabývající se metodami preindukce porodu, indukce porodu a kontraindikacemi indukce porodu. Rovněž se práce zabývá přípravou rodičky k indukci porodu. V závěru teoretické části práce je popsáno vedení porodu po neúspěšné indukci. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován za pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky výzkumu jsou zpracované za pomocí tabulek a grafů. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit příčiny a metody indukce porodu. Dalšími cíli bylo zjistit, informovanost žen o indukci porodu a jakou zkušenost ženy s indukcí porodu mají.

The main theme of this bachelor thesis is "Labour Induction: Opinions and Experiences of Women". This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part deals with pregnancy and its risks leading to labour induction. Further into the theoretical part there are chapters dealing with methods of pre-induction, induction and contraindications of labour induction. The bachelor thesis also deals with preparing the pregnant woman for labour induction. Giving birth after unsuccessful labour induction has been described in the end of the theoretical part. The practical part contains results of quan-titative research which was carried out using a questionnaire. The results were processed by spreadsheets and shown on graphs. The aim of this work was to find out the causes and methods of labour induction. The other aims were to find out about women's awareness of labour induction and what experiences women have had with labour induction.
