Bakalářská práce charakterizuje strukturu kofeinu, jeho vlastnosti, zdroje získávání a vliv na lidský organismus. Na biologickou aktivitu kofeinu je pohlíženo s využitím v kosmetické oblasti, především jsou uvedeny antioxidační účinky, UV protekční a antice-lulitidová aktivita a stimulace růstu vlasů. V souvislosti s využitím kofeinu je zhodnocena bezpečnost doplněná limity a omezeními.

The thesis deals with the characteristics of caffeine structure, its properties, resources and its effect on human organism. The biological activity of caffeine is focused on cosmetic field, in particular antioxidant effects, UV protection and anticellulite efficiency and stimulation of hair growth. In connection with the use of caffeine, safety is evaluated, supplemented by limits and restictions.
