Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá aktuální praxí využívání Automatizovaného externího defibrilátoru (AED) u jednotek požární ochrany Jihomoravského Kraje. Teoretická část práce popisuje východiska současné praxe, legislativní rámec, zdravotní aspekty náhlé zástavy krevního oběhu, dostupné technické prostředky pro resuscitaci. Praktická část této práce potom analyzuje podmínky efektivního fungování záchranného systému a spolupráce jednotek IZS JmK. S využitím konkrétních statistických údajů pak práce shrnuje výsledky a význam zapojení jednotek požární ochrany do systému záchrany osob postižených ná-hlou zástavou srdečního oběhu s využitím AED za uplynulé čtyři roky.

This bachelor thesis deals with the current practice of using the Automated External Defib-rillator (AED) in the fire protection units of the Czech Republic. This issue is dealt with in relation to new trends in cooperation between the units of the Integrated Rescue System of the South Moravian Region (IZS JmK) in saving the lives of people affected by sudden blood circulation arrest. The theoretical part describes the basis of current practice - legis-lative framework, health aspects of sudden arrest of blood circulation, available technical equipment for resuscitation. The practical part of this bachelor work analyzes the condi-tions of the effective operation of the rescue system and the project of cooperation of the IRS units. Using specific statistical data, the thesis summarizes the results and importance of involving fire protection units in a project to rescue people affected by sudden cardiac arrest using the AED for the past four years.
