Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na destigmatizaci duševně nemocných. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretické část vymezuje pojem stigma duševně nemocných, stigmatizaci a destigmatizaci. V teoretické části je přiblížena historie stigmatizace a destigmatizace. V teoretické části je poukázáno na některé důsledky stigmatizace a na roli všeobecné sestry při destigmatizaci. Praktická část obsahuje informace, získané technikou do-tazníku. Cílem bylo zjistit, jak všeobecné sestry charakterizují stigmatizaci a destigmatizaci, jakou roli v ní mají a jaké zaujímají postoje při poskytování ošetřovatelské péče duševně nemocným.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the destigmatization of the mentally ill.It is divided into theoretical and practical parts.The theoretical part defines the term stigma of the mentally ill, stigmatization and destigmatization.The theoretical part describes the history of stigmatization and destigmatization.The theoretical part points out some consequences of stigmatization and the role of general nurse in destigmatization.The practical part contains information obtained by the questionnaire technique.The aim was to find out how general nurses characterize stigmatization and destigmatization, what role they have and what attitudes they hold in providing nursing care to the mentally ill.
