Diplomová práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Zabývá se dítětem na rodinné fotografii. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy týkajících se fotografie. Dále se se teoretická část zaměřuje na dětství a jeho proměnu v historii. Empirická část popisuje kvalitativní výzkumný design, který byl prováděný formou obsahové analýzy fotografie a polostrukturovaného interview s participanty výzkumu. V závěru práce jsou interpretovány výsledky výzkumu.

The thesis has a theoretical-empirical character. The main theme of this thesis is a child in a family photography. The theoretical part defines basis concepts related to photography. The theoretical part also focuses on childhood and its transformation in history. The empirical part describes qualitative research design, which was carried out in the form of content analysis of photography and semi-structured interview with participants. At the end of the thesis the research are interpreted.
