Annotation in English This work deals with the study of PET solvolysis with the use of MW heating. The study was conducted on samples of PET beverage bottles. The goal of this study was to evaluate the possibility of using MW heating in chemical recycling and choosing an appropriate reaction system, catalyst design, its preparation and characterization of its performance. Glycerol zinc was used as a catalyst , which was prepared in our laboratory. The effect of the catalyst was compared with the zinc acetate catalyst. This study continues and builds on the thesis - MW heating, in the chemical recycling of PET, written by Radek Tobolík.
