Teze disertační práce jsou zaměřeny na nejdůležitější části výzkumu, který
se zabýval využitím prvků procesního řízení v českých nemocnicích s cílem vytvořit metodiku implementace BPM do českých nemocnic a tím podpořit zvyšování výkonnosti jednotlivých procesů i nemocnice jako celku.
V první části práce je provedena literární rešerše rozebírající současný stav problematiky Business Process Managementu a také data ze zdravotnických ročenek. Dále teze popisují stanovené cíle, průběh výzkumného záměru
a výsledky. V neposlední řadě je uveden přínos pro vědu a praxi. Hlavním cílem práce bylo vytvořit metodický postup implementace BPM pro české nemocnice, který by měl zajistit jejich efektivní řízení a tím přímo i nepřímo zvyšovat výkonnost interních procesů i celých nemocnic.

The dissertation theses are focused on the most important parts of the research, which dealt with the use of process management elements in Czech hospitals
in order to create a methodology for implementing BPM in Czech hospitals
and thus support increasing the efficiency of individual processes and the hospital
as a whole organization.
In the first part of the work, a literature research is performed analyzing
the current state of Business Process Management and data from medical yearbooks. Furthermore, theses describe the set goals, the course of the research plan and the results. Last but not least, the benefits for science and practice
are presented. The main goal of the work was to create a methodological procedure of the BPM implementation procedure for Czech hospitals, which should ensure their effective management and thus directly and indirectly increase the performance of internal processes and entire hospitals.
