In meiner Bachelorarbeit beschäftige ich mich mit der Kommunikation im Internet, genauer interessieren mich Emoticons. Heutzutage benutzt man sie nicht nur im E-Mail, aber auch in den Diskussionsforen. Für diese Arbeit wählte ich mich die Webseite Facebook. Das Ziel meine Arbeit ist die Analyse Emoticons auf dem sozialen Netzwerk Facebook und auch die Untersuchung ihre Funktionen.
Der erste Teil ist auf die neuen Medien, Internet-Kommunikation, verbale und nonverbale Kommunikation und vor allem auf Emoticons konzentriert. Für die Bearbeitung der Arbeit wird die Fachliteratur benutzt.
In dem zweiten Teil sind die Beiträge von dem sozialen Netzwerk Facebook ausführlich analysiert, genauer interessiert mich der österreichischen Schauspieler Elyas M´Barek, der viele Fans hat, deshalb sind die Beiträge voll von den verschiedenen Typen der Emoticons.

In this bachelor thesis, I focus on the communication on the Internet. Main focus is on emoticons, which are frequent on the Internet. Nowadays, the emoticons are being used in e-mails as well as in discussion forums. For this thesis I chose to focus on Facebook. My main focus is to analyse emoticons on social media platform Facebook and as well as to examine their function.
The theory part is focused on modern media, internet communication, verbal and non-verbal communication and mainly on the use of emoticons. For the research, a specialised literature is used.
In the practical part, the posts from social media Facebook will be analysed, with the focus on Austrian actor Elyas M'Barek, who has plenty of followers, where many emoticons can be found.
